Registered Nurse - Emergency Room
About The Position
WorkFit Medical Staffing is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for its Emergency Room in Buffalo, New York. In this fast-paced environment, the nurse provides critical care to patients in urgent need, assesses incoming patients, performs life-saving interventions, and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to support optimal patient outcomes. The role calls for a compassionate professional who thrives under pressure and is committed to high-quality patient care. This is a 13-week contract position working night shifts, three 12-hour shifts per week, with every other weekend and holidays required.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York.
- At least 2 years of recent Emergency Room or Critical Care nursing experience.
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
- Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS.
- Ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize patient care effectively.
