About The Position
WorkFit Medical Staffing is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for its Emergency Room in Elmira, New York. In this fast-paced environment, the nurse will provide critical care to patients in urgent need, assess incoming patients, perform life-saving interventions, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support optimal patient outcomes. The role is a 13-week contract on the night shift, working three 12-hour shifts per week. Every other weekend and holiday work is required.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Room or Critical Care nursing experience.
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
- Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS.
- Ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize patient care effectively.
