Requirements

Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio.
CPR certification required.
Must successfully complete all required background screenings.

Nice To Haves

Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care in accordance with physician orders, nursing standards, and facility policies.
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely.
Complete resident assessments and develop individualized care plans.
Monitor residents’ conditions and promptly report changes to physicians and the interdisciplinary team.
Respond appropriately to emergencies and provide life-saving interventions when necessary.
Accurately document assessments, medications, treatments, and resident progress.
Supervise, mentor, and support STNAs and other nursing staff.
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, families, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality resident care.
Ensure compliance with infection prevention, HIPAA, OSHA, and resident rights regulations.
Participate in admissions, discharges, transfers, and care conferences.
Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents, families, and visitors.
Attend required education, in-services, and staff meetings.
Perform additional nursing duties as assigned.
