About The Position

As a Registered Nurse in the Super Float Pool at Research Medical Center, you move between assignments and support various hospital units. Float pool nurses use critical-thinking skills and broad clinical knowledge while staying calm under pressure. The unit emphasizes communication and teamwork among hospital staff, offers opportunities to learn about different areas of the hospital, and encourages staff to bring improvement ideas to leadership.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse qualification.
• Registered Nurse Diploma.
• Five years of experience required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of the employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing support to various hospital units as assignments change.
• Apply critical-thinking skills and clinical knowledge while remaining calm under pressure.
