About The Position
Join UT Health Pittsburg as a full-time, day-shift Surgical Services Registered Nurse in Pittsburg, Texas. The RN is a professional caregiver who uses the nursing process to provide and direct patient care for a group of patients during the designated period before and during a surgical procedure. UT Health Pittsburg offers 25 private rooms, a 24-hour Level IV trauma center and acute stroke-ready facility, surgical suites, advanced diagnostics, a sleep lab, a wound healing center, swing-bed care, 16 physician offices, and a UT Health East Texas Olympic Center fitness facility. Requirements
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Maintain a current Texas RN License.
- Obtain BLS certification within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and before providing direct patient care.
Nice To Haves
- Prior operating room experience.
- ACLS certification.
