About The Position

Registered Nurse – Outpatient Services. This role provides important care for out One Day Surgery patients. There is no call requirement and no weekend work requirement, creating enhanced work-life balance.

Requirements

• A nursing degree from a nursing school
• A current VA (or Multi-state) RN license
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments
• Provides Pre-Operative Patient Teaching.
