The position is suited to nurses with cardiac, ICU, or step-down experience, as well as nurses seeking broader exposure across the cardiac care continuum. It offers opportunities to develop advanced cardiac and procedural competencies in an evolving academic health-system environment. Relocation assistance may be available to qualified candidates. The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing required within five years of hire; one year of relevant experience; an active Virginia RN license; and American Heart Association Health Care Provider BLS certification. The pay range is $41.05–$54.15 per hour, with individual compensation based on qualifications, experience, and/or education. The job involves prolonged standing, frequent travel, bending and stooping, and lifting, pushing, or pulling 20–50 pounds. Exposure to chemicals, blood and body fluids, and infectious disease may occur.
