About The Position

ChristianaCare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Labor & Delivery departments at our Women's & Children's Building on our Newark Campus. This is a part-time position with 12-hour rotating shifts (7 AM - 7 PM & 7 PM - 7 AM), requiring weekend and holiday commitment, as well as an on-call rotation. The role offers opportunities to train in Labor & Delivery, High Risk OB, OB Peri-Op, Antenatal, and potentially OBGYN Emergency once established. We support over 6,500 births annually and are dedicated to serving our community with love and excellence. As an RN at ChristianaCare, you will practice with a standard of nursing excellence, providing optimal outcomes for safe delivery of care for our Labor and Delivery patients and families.

Requirements

BSN required or commitment to obtaining BSN within three years of date of hire.
Two years of Acute Care experience strongly preferred.
Delaware RN licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Delaware.
BLS required.

Nice To Haves

Experience in women's & children's services preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care for Labor & Delivery patients and families.
Train in Labor & Delivery, High Risk OB, OB Peri-Op, and Antenatal.
