About The Position

Easterseals PORT Health (ESPH) is seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse to join their Virginia REACH team. This role will support adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities and mental health needs at a Crisis Therapeutic Home (CTH) in Staunton, VA. The position focuses on providing nursing care, administering medications, performing assessments, educating individuals on health, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, ensuring safety and compliance through documentation, and promoting stability and recovery. The Registered Nurse will also provide guidance to Behavior Techs and LPNs.

Requirements

Current valid, unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse in the state of Virginia
A valid driver's license and car insurance for occasional transportation to appointments

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of MH and I/DD systems of care preferred
Experience in crisis prevention and intervention services preferred

Responsibilities

Providing compassionate nursing care to adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities and behavioral health needs in our Crisis Therapeutic Home
Administering medications, performing nursing assessments, and ensuring each individual receives the highest standard of care
Educating and empowering individuals regarding their physical and mental health
Collaborating with a dedicated interdisciplinary team to create personalized care and treatment plans
Ensuring safety and compliance by maintaining accurate documentation and following all clinical standards
Playing an essential role in promoting stability, recovery, and hope for those we serve
Provide guidance to Behavior Techs and LPNs as needed
