About The Position

Coordinates and provides family-centered nursing care to infants, children and adolescents, utilizing the nursing process. Accountable for professional practice including independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions performed in collaboration with other health team members. This is a variable position. The annualized FTE is 0.65 FTE. RN will work 0.5 FTE for 26 weeks, approximately beginning of May to the end of October. RN will then work 0.8 FTE for 26 weeks, approximately beginning of November to the end of April. This position is not eligible to decrease or increase FTE. THIS IS AN MNA CONTRACT POSITION.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current Minnesota RN licensure.
Current BLS certification.
Current Chemotherapy & Biotherapy (CHEMBIO) course completion required within 24-months of start date.
Current Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS) certification required or obtained during orientation.

Nice To Haves

Based upon the unit in which you are applying, additional certification(s) may be required.
Department specific required qualifications need to be obtained within 6 months of employment.
