About The Position

Join a dedicated team providing moderate sedation in a fast-paced procedural area for patients undergoing preventative and interventional stroke care. The Registered Nurse administers intraoperative moderate sedation and circulates in the procedural area when not involved in sedation.

Requirements

• Active New York RN license.
• Experience in moderate sedation.
• Experience in interventional radiology.
• Telemetry monitoring experience.
• Ability to circulate exclusively in the procedural area.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Nice To Haves

• A minimum of two years of nursing experience or experience in a Level 1 trauma facility is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer moderate sedation and closely monitor patients’ cardiac and physical status.
• Collaborate with the physician to ensure patient safety, comfort, and privacy.
• Circulate in the procedural area when not providing moderate sedation.
