About The Position

Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe, Missouri, is seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse to join its Surgical Services Department. The role provides perioperative care in a collaborative, fast-paced surgical environment. In the hospital setting, the nurse uses the nursing process to provide patient care, delegates care tasks, and supervises other patient care staff. The nurse coordinates plans of care for assigned patients and consults with other members of the health care team when indicated to support optimal patient outcomes. The nurse demonstrates clinical proficiency and follows applicable policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures. The position is full-time with a day-shift schedule.

Requirements

• Associate degree.
• Registered Nurse (MO) credential through the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS).
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Applicable experience listed as less than 1 year.
