About The Position

United Health Services is seeking a Vascular Access RN to support patients across the UHS system. The role focuses on placing ultrasound-guided IVs and completing central line dressing changes, and requires strong clinical expertise, attention to detail, excellent communication, flexibility, and the ability to adapt to different care settings. Reliable transportation is required because the position supports multiple UHS locations, including UHS Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City, NY, and UHS Binghamton General Hospital in Binghamton, NY. The candidate may be required to float across UHS facilities; the recruiter and hiring manager will clarify expectations during the interview process. This regular position is scheduled for 36 hours per week on a day rotational shift. Compensation is $40.70–$61.05 per hour, depending on experience. A sign-on bonus of up to $15,000 is available for eligible candidates. Benefits eligibility applies to regular positions with at least 24 scheduled weekly hours.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
Current New York State RN license.
Excellent communication skills, flexibility, and ability to adapt to various care settings.
Reliable transportation is required.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.
Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting.
Infusion nursing experience.
Vascular access certification.
Professional certification in a related nursing specialty.
Relevant skills certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or TNCC, as required by the assigned home unit.
