Requirements
- Current licensure in the state of Colorado as a Registered Nurse.
- Current CPR Certification.

- Experience in long-term care preferred.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process in planning and providing direct care to residents as assigned.
- Plan, direct and carry out shift routines in assigned nursing unit.
- Observe, direct and evaluate the activities of personnel as the person “in charge” according to the Nurse Practice Act.
- Assume “Building Charge” responsibilities as directed by the DON or Designee.
- Provides leadership and direction in the assigned unit.
- Resident Care Functions.
- Charting, Documentation and Assessment Functions.
- Serve on, participate in and attend various committees and meetings of the facility to enhance interdisciplinary process.
- Other duties as assigned.
