About The Position

Baylor University Medical Center (BUMC) is seeking a Registered Nurse for its fast-paced Oncology units, which handle high-acuity patients. These units specialize in Bone Marrow Transplant recipients, Oncology Critically Ill (ICU), Oncology Telemetry, Chimeric Antigen Receptor T-Cells (CAR-T) recipients, and Phase One or High Acuity Research trial patients. The leadership team fosters an environment that supports learning, mentoring, and professional growth. The units feature single patient rooms and offer a supportive multidisciplinary team, including on-unit pharmacists and a dedicated Palliative Care Team. Requirements

• Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program
• 1+ years of RN experience in the US
• Must have 2+ years of ICU experience and worked in an ICU unit within the last year
• BLS – Basic Life Support (required within 30 days of hire)

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years of Oncology experience highly desired
• Bone Marrow Transplant experience highly desired

Responsibilities

• Provide care for Bone Marrow Transplant recipients.
• Care for Oncology Critically Ill (ICU) patients.
• Care for Oncology Telemetry patients.
• Care for Chimeric Antigen Receptor T-Cells (CAR-T) recipients.
• Care for Phase One or High Acuity Research trial patients.
• Partner with nurses in patient care.
• Work with a Multidisciplinary Team.
• Support and encourage growth of team members.
