About The Position

Methodist Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse to join its Med Surg/Telemetry team. The RN manages episodes of patient care in partnership with patients, caregivers, groups, and other providers to achieve the shared goal of delivering safe, quality health care. Care may be provided directly by the RN or coordinated and supervised when delegated to Nursing Assistants and other unlicensed assistive personnel.

The schedule is 0.75 FTE, with rotating day and night shifts, 12-hour shifts, and every third weekend. Park Nicollet offers a competitive benefits package for eligible positions.

Requirements

• Completion of an associate, baccalaureate, or master’s degree program in Nursing.
• Valid Minnesota Registered Nurse License.
• BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines.
• Knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure patient safety.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred; a BSN is generally expected to be obtained within two years of hire.
