About The Position
Methodist Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse for its Med Surg/Telemetry team. The RN manages episodes of patient care in partnership with patients, caregivers, groups, and other providers to achieve the shared goal of safe, quality health care. Care may be delivered directly by the RN or coordinated and supervised when delegated to Nursing Assistants and other unlicensed assistive personnel. The position is 0.75 FTE, with rotating day and night shifts, 12-hour shifts, and every third weekend.
Requirements
- Completion of an associate, baccalaureate, or master’s degree program in Nursing.
- Valid Minnesota Registered Nurse license.
- BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines.
- Knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure patient safety.
Nice To Haves
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred; a BSN is generally expected to be obtained within two years of hire.
