Registered Nurse (RN) - Radiology Diagnostic
About The Position
The Radiology Registered Nurse delivers safe patient care using the nursing process and provides direct care within the scope of practice. Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, the nurse provides high-quality nursing care and service throughout the continuum of care. The role supports the Radiologist during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, helps maintain equipment and inventory, and assesses procedure-room and equipment readiness and functioning. The nurse follows applicable regulations, standards, and hospital or unit policies and procedures, participates in performance improvement activities, department meetings, and in-services, and serves as a resource for other personnel as appropriate.
Requirements
- Current and valid state RN license.
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintained thereafter.
- Current ACLS certification within 30 days of hire and maintained thereafter.
- Conscious Sedation Monitoring competency within 30 days of hire and maintained thereafter.
Nice To Haves
- Certified Radiology Nurse (CRN).
- One year of acute clinical Radiology Nursing experience.
- Ventilator Management experience.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
