About The Position

CVS Health is hiring a part-time Registered Nurse for home infusion services. The nurse provides a broad range of infusion therapies in patients’ homes, delivering one-on-one nursing care and patient education in accordance with physicians’ plans of treatment. The role offers a balanced schedule and the opportunity to build relationships with patients and families while using clinical IV experience to support care and recovery at home. Nurses receive ongoing training in specialty infusion technology and clinical requirements. Eligible certification and recertification expenses may be reimbursed. The position serves patients in Maryland and may occasionally serve a patient in Virginia; additional licensure may be required for multistate service areas. Travel and patient time are paid, and mileage is reimbursed at the federal government reimbursement rate. Required hours fluctuate between 20 and 25 per week, with flexible hours that include some early evenings and weekend availability.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with compact licensure in Maryland; patients may also be seen in Virginia.
• At least one year of nursing experience, including at least one year of infusion/IV experience.
• Maintain current CPR certification.
• Valid and current driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Education: RN diploma, associate degree, or bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Some early evening hours and weekend availability are required.

Nice To Haves

• Home healthcare experience.
• CRNI certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide a broad range of infusion therapies in patients’ homes.
• Deliver one-on-one home infusion nursing care and patient education in accordance with the physician’s plan of treatment.
• Use clinical IV experience to help patients recover in the comfort of their homes.
• Interact with patients, physicians, pharmacists, and other care partners using strong written and verbal customer service skills.
• Document and track patient care activity using Microsoft Office applications.
• Complete ongoing training in specialty infusion technology and clinical requirements.
