Home Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) - TX
About The Position
Float Health connects experienced nurses with patients who need specialty medications administered in their homes. As a Float Health nurse, you provide one-on-one specialty infusion care, including administering IV medications such as IVIG and monoclonal antibodies, starting and maintaining peripheral IVs, monitoring patients during treatment, providing patient education and support, and delivering safe, efficient, compassionate nursing care. Nurses work as independent contractors and may choose available patient visits that fit their schedule and location; there is no minimum commitment or obligation to accept a visit.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; ADN or BSN accepted.
- Active RN license.
- Current BLS certification.
- Proof of nursing liability insurance or willingness to obtain coverage during onboarding.
- At least 3 years of hospital-based nursing experience, or home infusion/infusion center experience.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in home infusion, an infusion center, oncology, the emergency department, ICU/critical care, hematology, infectious disease, or home health is especially valuable.
Responsibilities
