About The Position

Intermountain Centers is seeking career-minded individuals for opportunities within the largest adult and child service continuum in Arizona. As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will perform supervisory management, administrative, and clinical work within your assigned geographic service area. Your responsibilities will include coordinating care and best practices between medical assistants, prescribers, physical health counterparts, and members. You will also be responsible for recommending, developing, and administering policies, procedures, and budgetary matters. This role requires independent judgment and adherence to all State of Arizona, Behavioral Health Agency, RBHA, BMFL, and AHW regulations.

Requirements

  • Two (2) years of nursing experience.
  • Current Unencumbered RN Licensure in Arizona.
  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • DPS Level I fingerprint clearance (must possess upon hire and maintain throughout employment).
  • CPR, First Aid, AED certification (if required, must possess upon hire and maintain throughout employment).
  • Current, valid Arizona Driver’s License and 39-month Motor Vehicle Report and proof of vehicle registration liability insurance (if required).
  • Initial current negative TB test result (if required).

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual skills (indicated by bilingual pay differential).

Responsibilities

  • Performs nursing skills including vital signs monitoring, medication administration, wound care, nursing assessments, and providing support during treatment programs.
  • Makes independent, sound, critical decisions under stress and in emergency situations, and informs Executive Level officers of sentinel events.
  • Collaborates with other medical services staff to develop processes for medication services and physical health integration.
  • Prepares professional reports on services, programs, personnel, and operations.
  • Researches and compiles statistical data.
  • Maintains records and reports using computer software.
  • Provides injections to patients and documents information in the medical record.
  • Researches, recommends, develops, and enforces appropriate procedures and policies.
  • Provides training and materials for staff on effective patient interaction methods.
  • Acts as a liaison for Executive Leadership regarding physical health integration practices.
  • Maintains knowledge of agency rules, regulations, and standards.
  • Performs technical operations, specifically related to Telemedicine.
  • Researches and recommends solutions to technical problems.
  • Manages and ensures proper maintenance of facility infrastructures.
  • Develops and delivers company presentations and represents the company on committees.
  • Provides oversight to Physician Extenders and Prescribers regarding medication and treatment administration.
  • Follows all policies, procedures, and controls regarding Protected Health Information (PHI).
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
