About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for an exciting Travel or Local job in Tucson, AZ. This position focuses on providing direct nursing care to geriatric residents in a Long-Term Care (LTC) setting.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in the State of Arizona
- Current CPR/BLS Certification
- Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
- Ability to work night shifts and weekends
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to geriatric residents in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards
- Administer medications, treatments, and monitor resident responses within RN scope
- Assess, monitor, and document residents’ physical, emotional, and behavioral conditions
- Perform admission assessments and assist with care planning, MDS assessments, and quarterly reviews
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and nursing records
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary care teams
- Supervise and support CNAs and licensed nursing staff when assigned as charge nurse
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) when necessary
- Participate in shift reports, emergency response procedures, and patient safety initiatives
- Maintain a clean, safe, therapeutic, and hygienic environment for residents
- Participate in training, quality assurance, and process improvement programs
