About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join a progressive care unit in Nashville, Tennessee. The unit has 12 beds and includes a Charge RN, RNs, and Patient Care Technicians (PCTs). Patient ratios are 2:1 for ICU patients and 4:1 for med/surg and PCU patients. The unit uses Meditech for documentation and is equipped with ventilators, specialty beds, and occasional Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT). The role requires a minimum of four weekend shifts per four-week schedule. Contract labor floats first. The mandatory uniform is navy scrubs. The unit offers flexible scheduling options and a supportive atmosphere, with additional details about departmental awards and recognition available during the interview process.
Requirements
- Minimum of two years of nursing experience
- Med/surg experience
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
