About The Position
Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Same-Day Surgery Center. This is a part-time position with four 8-hour shifts per week, totaling 32 hours. The role involves rotating shifts in Pre-op and Phase II recovery. Requirements
- Virginia or Compact Multi-State RN License in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- 24 months of experience as an RN in an Acute care setting
- ADN Required
Nice To Haves
- ED and ICU experience desired
- BSN or higher preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform nursing duties in Pre-op and Phase II recovery areas.
- Provide patient care within a specialized setting.
- Collaborate with a team to ensure optimal patient care.
