About The Position

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing care in the Medical-Surgical Unit (MSU) for adult geriatric and pediatric patients. Staffing ratios are designed to ensure quality care, with a typical ratio of 4:1 for non-COVID patients and 2:1 for COVID patients. This is a 20-bed medical-surgical unit catering to both adult and pediatric patients. In addition to inpatient responsibilities, the RN may be assigned to assist in flu immunization clinics as needed. Travelers are expected to participate in staff meetings.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience is required, including at least 1 year of pediatric experience.
• Candidates must be comfortable working with both adult and pediatric patients.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.

• Flexibility for daytime, nighttime, weekend, and holiday shifts as needs may change.
• Availability for holiday coverage is required.

Responsibilities
