About The Position
Franciscan Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for its Mooresville campus. The RN provides comprehensive care to patients and their families by listening, assessing, developing plans of care, implementing those plans, and reassessing and evaluating each patient. The position is in a 12-bed labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum (LDRP) unit, which includes a newborn nursery serving as a Level 2 Special Care Nursery, two triage rooms, and two cesarean suites. Typical patient ratios are 1:1 in Labor & Delivery, 1:3 in Postpartum, and 1:3 for Couplet Care. The role includes a didactic learning experience in a fast-paced environment. Travel is required. Requirements
- Associate degree required.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license from the state licensing board in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Experience in OB, Labor & Delivery, and circulating in the OR.
- Travel is required.
