Registered Nurse RN Neuro Surgical Trauma ICU
About The Position
Saint Alphonsus Health System is hiring a Registered Nurse for its Neuro Surgical Trauma (NeST) ICU at the Regional Medical Center in Boise, Idaho. The unit is part of a Level II Trauma Center and a Level I Comprehensive Stroke Center, and has 18 critical care beds. Nurses care for patients with neurological, surgical, or traumatic injuries and illnesses requiring intensive care, including multi-trauma, spinal cord injuries, subarachnoid hemorrhage, seizures, and stroke. The role offers experience in Idaho’s first and only Neuro Surgical Trauma Unit, working with the state’s only board-certified, fellowship-trained neurocritical care doctors and using advanced technology and equipment.
Requirements
- Hold an Idaho or multistate RN license; if applicable, establish Idaho residency within 6 months.
- Hold BLS certification.
- Obtain ACLS and PALS certifications within designated timelines.
