About The Position

St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for its ICU on a 13-week contract. The hospital is a 229-bed acute care facility in Enid, Oklahoma, serving northwest Oklahoma for more than 100 years.

The RN provides patient care in multiple roles, including caregiver, decision-maker, patient advocate, manager, rehabilitator, comforter, communicator, and teacher. Using the nursing process, the RN assesses patients’ nursing needs, initiates and implements plans of care, and evaluates care and outcomes. The RN follows professional nursing standards and promotes the dignity and quality of patient care.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse licensure from the State of Oklahoma.
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Life Support (ALS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and SECURE (de-escalation) required within six months of employment.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required within three months of employment.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Nursing experience preferred.
