About The Position

This is a full-time Registered Nurse position in the 3 South Oncology unit at Advocate Christ Medical Center. The role involves providing holistic patient care, recognizing and responding to situational changes, and utilizing proficient computer skills for electronic medical records. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills are essential for collaborating with patients, team members, and physicians. The position requires strong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to multitask in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in Nursing.
  • Typically requires 1 year of experience in clinical nursing.
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the team member practices.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, reach above shoulders, and twist frequently throughout the workday.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. from floor to waist.
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. over the head.
  • Must be able to carry.
