About The Position

The Registered Nurse provides direct nursing care for individual clients and families. The Registered Nurse communicates with and on behalf of the client and coordinates client care with all health team members. The Registered Nurse organizes those aspects of nursing care for which s/he is accountable in a specified work period. Requirements

Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Dakota
BLS certification
ACLS certification required in the first 6 months of hire
PALS or ENPC certification required in the first 6 months of hire
TNCC certification required in the first 6 months of hire
Proficiency in the assigned clinical area expected within six months following a formal orientation
Cross training is required
Utilizes computer system and software
Completes competencies on department equipment
Basic Reading, Writing, and Math skills
Complex Tasks to include patient education delivery skills
Basic Computer and clerical skills
Proficiency in critical thinking
Task oriented with the ability to follow Instructions
