About The Position
Registered Nurse (RN) - Adult Day Care Location: Paterson, NJ Schedule: Monday–Friday | Day Shift | Per Diem Bilingual required: English & Spanish Make a Difference Every Day Sevita is excited to announce we are hiring a dynamic Registered Nurse to join our Adult Day Health team! We are looking for a reliable self-starter with a strong nursing background. Our RNs provide direct care and support overall patient health, making a real impact on the lives of those we serve.
Requirements
- Current New Jersey RN licensure required.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills to manage relationships with vendors and employees.
- A reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach.
- A commitment to quality in everything you do.
- Bilingual required: English & Spanish
Responsibilities
- Review and update patient medical records.
- Provide treatment under the direction of a physician.
- Assist patients with prescribed medication.
- Measure and record patient temperatures.
- Triage patients who are ill, injured, or experiencing behavioral issues, ensuring a safe environment for all.
- Document patient care activities accurately in medical records.
- Complete administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and preparing reports.
- Keep medical records up-to-date and complete for each patient.
- Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
