About The Position

The Registered Nurse works in a fast-paced Intensive Care Unit caring for high-acuity patients, including patients with heart failure, respiratory failure, renal failure, multisystem failure, complex electrolyte imbalances, and complications from surgery. Care may involve intravenous infusions, extensive monitoring, and ventilator support. The nurse collaborates with a team in an 8-bed unit serving some of Howard County’s sickest patients.

Requirements

• Graduate of a nursing school accredited by NLN, CCNE, ACEN, or NLN CNEA, or have three years of related professional nursing experience.
• Hold a valid Registered Nurse license to practice in Indiana, as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).

Nice To Haves

• ICU experience is preferred; new graduates will be considered.
• EPIC experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to high-acuity ICU patients.
