Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Minnesota.
• CPR within 6 months of hire.
• Clear and compassionate communication abilities.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and clinical best practices.
• Proficient in English to ensure effective communication with resident, team members and family.
• Ability to pass state mandated background check.
• Physical capability to perform all essential job functions.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in long-term care, acute care, or rehabilitation is preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage Clinical Operations and Care Standards – Implement and uphold clinical standards, following the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Coordinate patient care needs with internal and external services while ensuring accurate clinical documentation.
• Deliver Direct Patient Care – Initiate preventative and rehabilitative nursing procedures, observe and report changes in conditions, and reach, supervise, and counsel patients to promote optimal health and safety.
• Build Relationships and Ensure Compliance – Create an environment that ensures high-quality care (physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual) while promoting patient independence and dignity.
• Establish effective communication with all patients.
