Requirements

Current Registered Nurse (RN) or LPN license in the state of Minnesota.
CPR within 6 months of hire.
Clear and compassionate communication abilities.
Knowledge of regulatory compliance and clinical best practices.
Proficient in English to ensure effective communication with resident, team members and family.
Ability to pass state mandated background check.
Physical capability to perform all essential job functions.

Nice To Haves

Experience in long-term care, acute care, or rehabilitation is preferred

Responsibilities

Implement and uphold clinical standards, following the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Coordinate patient care needs with internal and external services while ensuring accurate clinical documentation.
Initiate preventative and rehabilitative nursing procedures, observe and report changes in conditions, and reach, supervise, and counsel patients to promote optimal health and safety.
Create an environment that ensures high-quality care (physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual) while promoting patient independence and dignity.
Establish effective communication with all patients.
