About The Position

Join the #1 hospital in Wisconsin as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Inpatient Imaging. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with exceptionally qualified providers and technical staff using state-of-the-art technology. You will provide care in various modalities including procedure prep and recovery, Interventional Radiology (Body and Neuro), Ultrasound, MRI, and Musculoskeletal. The team is actively involved in cutting-edge, evidence-based therapies and research studies to improve patient outcomes. Nurses are encouraged and supported to participate in quality improvement initiatives and lead practice change. This position fosters a teaching and learning culture, encouraging staff to understand the 'why' behind problems and solutions.

Requirements

  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of WI or holds a license issued by a jurisdiction that has adopted the nurse licensure compact Upon Hire
  • Current CPR/BLS Certification Upon Hire
  • ACLS within 6 months
  • Six (6) months nursing experience or current participant in UW Health’s Nurse Residency Program with successful completion of the Nurse Residency Orientation on unit/similar unit (for Inpatient Units and Central Float, Venous Access Team (VAT), Radiology, Hemodialysis, Cardiovascular Laboratory)
  • Two (2) years of nursing experience (for eICU)

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Relevant RN Experience (Preferred)
  • Relevant certification

Responsibilities
