About The Position

This role involves providing compassionate bedside care to patients in an inpatient setting, focusing on patient goals and utilizing a variety of nursing skills to maintain physical care and comfort. The position requires developing and executing a plan of care within an interdisciplinary setting, conducting regular assessments for physical and emotional needs, and providing supportive education, coaching, and guidance to patients and their families. Responsibilities also include documenting care, operating medical equipment, administering medications, and assisting CNAs and LPNs.

Requirements

  • Current or pending AR or Compact Registered Nurse license without restrictions.
  • Compassionate, sympathetic, responsible, and detail-oriented individuals that are able to cope with human suffering is necessary.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills are required.
  • Electronic medical records experience and attention to detail with documentation standards.
  • Strong clinical assessment skills.
  • Ability to manage and assess care plans.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and pleasantly with staff, patients, and visitors.
  • Able to exercise sound judgment and seek clarification when necessary.
  • Reliable and dependable for scheduling and availability.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a healthcare facility; home health, hospice, gerontology, geriatrics, acute or terminal care.

  • Able to productively work with or without supervision, and be accountable for completion of work and assignments.
