About The Position

The Registered Nurse works with other healthcare professionals to treat patients with various injuries, illnesses, or disabilities. The role includes monitoring patients, administering medications, maintaining records, consulting with healthcare providers, and educating patients. This is a part-time, night-shift position in Labor and Delivery, scheduled from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., in Summit, New Jersey.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
BLS certification.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
ASN-qualified nurses must complete their BSN studies within five years of their start date.
At least one year of experience in nursing or a relevant area.
ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate and complete healthcare records and reports.
Administer medications and monitor patients for side effects and reactions.
Prescribe assistive medical devices and related treatments.
Monitor, report, and record symptoms or changes in patients’ conditions.
Assess, implement, plan, or evaluate patient nursing care plans in collaboration with healthcare team members.
Record patients’ vital signs and medical information.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
