REGISTERED NURSE - Expanded Part-Time - 7a-7p
About The Position
The inpatient registered nurse holds a safety-sensitive position and delivers personalized, comprehensive care to patients through the nursing process. The role combines therapeutic use of self, innovative technology, and collaboration among patients, families, and healthcare professionals. The nurse is responsible and accountable for providing leadership to non-licensed staff by prescribing, delegating, and coordinating medical-surgical nursing care to achieve optimum patient outcomes. The position is described as expanded part-time, with 7 a.m.–7 p.m. shifts on variable days. The first week of orientation requires Monday through Wednesday, working 8-hour shifts. Shift differentials apply. No prior experience is required. ACLS certification must be completed within 60 days of hire; ACLS classes are offered at OSH after hire.
Requirements
- Current Oklahoma or multi-state RN license.
- Current BLS certification.
- Complete ACLS certification within 60 days of hire.
- Knowledge of and competency in current nursing practices specific to the unit and patient age group.
- No experience required.
