PRN - Perinatal Services - Registered Nurse
About The Position
Under the direction of the O.B. nurse director and/or designated charge nurse, this role demonstrates proficiency in administering the fundamentals of the nursing process. The Registered Nurse contributes to the nursing assessment and the development of the nursing care plan, and participates in the evaluation of nursing care. This position shares responsibility for individual patients or an entire patient population, providing quality nursing care for gynecological, maternal and newborn patients. The Registered Nurse cooperates with other professional staff to provide services that reflect the caring philosophy of the hospital.
Requirements
- Registered with Kentucky Board of Nursing or compact states
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications maintained
- Graduate of an accredited RN program
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of six (6) months' recent experience as a professional nurse
- Bachelor’s degree (BSN) preferred
