About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care's Phoenix Skilled Office is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to provide one-on-one private duty care in pediatric and geriatric roles. Current opportunities include caring for a 15-year-old client in Queen Creek. Available schedules include weekday evening shifts, overnight shifts throughout the week, and weekend day shifts. Nurses travel to one client's home and provide individualized care, with autonomy to perform skills in the home. The role includes following and documenting doctors' orders, conducting assessments, monitoring client conditions, and documenting observations, interventions, and evaluations.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
• A current nursing license in good standing in the state of Arizona.
• One year of experience working as a Registered Nurse.

Nice To Haves

• Tracheostomy (trach) experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one private duty nursing care to a client in the client's home.
• Follow up on, execute, and properly document doctors' orders.
• Perform assessments and monitor clients' conditions.
• Document observations, interventions, and evaluations.
• Perform nursing skills autonomously in the home.
