Registered Nurse - PRN Weekend RN
About The Position
This position is responsible for delivering care to a group of residents in a nursing unit. Duties include assessing resident needs, developing individual care plans, administering nursing care, and supervising Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and other personnel in the delivery of nursing care. The position complies with the CMS mandate on vaccinations. Requirements
- Current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Wyoming.
- Clinical assessment skills sufficient to meet the job requirements.
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
- Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, and of laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to long-term care.
- Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work with an interdisciplinary care team.
- Basic understanding of computer technology, including email use.
- Written and oral communication skills.
- Decision-making and analytical skills.
- Ability to relate positively, favorably, and cooperatively with employees, residents, family members, and personnel of outside agencies and organizations.
- Positive attitude and desire to work with the aging population.
