Registered Nurse (RN)-Endoscopy/GI Lab-Part Time
About The Position
Registered Nurse (RN) - Digestive Health (Endoscopy) in Chicago, IL (Lakeview Neighborhood). This is a part-time position requiring 24 hours a week, with 3-8 hour shifts per week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Start times will rotate between 0645-0900. The position requires occasional Saturdays and call, with 3-4 shifts a month for call and occasional Saturdays. Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center is a state-of-the-art 397-bed, non-academic teaching hospital with a new tower opening in Fall of 2025. It is a Magnet designation for excellence in nursing services and a Level I Trauma Center. The Digestive Health unit performs over 10,000 procedures annually with five GI Procedure Rooms operational. Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state of Illinois
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferably in critical care, telemetry

Responsibilities
- Providing nursing care to inpatient and outpatient population requiring GI procedures by preparing and assessing preoperatively through recovering postop in a team environment.
