About The Position

Sentara Home Care Services is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for its home health and hospice services in Newport News, Virginia. The Direct Care Registered Nurse develops, implements, and evaluates plans of care for specific patient populations. The RN manages a patient caseload by coordinating and collaborating with multidisciplinary team members to facilitate integrated, comprehensive care, and maintains the clinical knowledge and skills required to meet standards in the applicable clinical areas. The role is full-time on the day shift. Mileage reimbursement is provided for all miles driven between patient visits.

Requirements

• Associate's degree.
• Active Registered Nurse license in Virginia.
• At least one year of nursing experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
