About The Position

Mass General Brigham Home Care is hiring a Registered Nurse for its Logan team. Most visits are in East Boston and Winthrop, with additional coverage in Chelsea and Revere. The role serves a diverse patient population in their homes and combines independent management of patients and schedules with support from a collaborative team. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, on a day schedule, with no evenings and approximately 5–6 visits per day. The territory is focused to reduce travel between visits; city parking passes are provided to new team members. The nurse oversees patients’ plans of care and works with an interdisciplinary team. Dedicated Admission Registered Nurses support new patients and help establish their care plans, while scheduling coordinators, liaisons, and other support services assist with administrative and coordination needs. Weekly interdisciplinary pod meetings, monthly team meetings, and quarterly in-person team days support team communication and collaboration. Onboarding is designed to prepare nurses for independent work in the community, with ongoing training, education, and professional development. The schedule includes dedicated time for documentation, chart review, and care coordination. The MGB electronic documentation system provides access to doctors’ notes and orders. Field safety resources include GPS-enabled safety tools, real-time alerts, and security-supported key fob access. The position is represented by the Massachusetts Nurses Association collective bargaining unit. The employer describes a comprehensive benefits package, including tuition reimbursement, as well as career advancement opportunities, differentials, premiums and bonuses as applicable, and recognition programs. The listed pay range is $40.09–$71.12 per hour.
