About The Position

The Registered Nurse independently plans and provides professional nursing care for patients in accordance with physician orders; established hospital and departmental policies and procedures; American Nurses Association Standards of Clinical Practice; the Indiana Nurse Practice Act; and the ANA Code of Ethics. The IV team covers Parkview Regional Medical Center and Parkview Randallia, providing specialized vascular access services to all patient populations.

Requirements

• Diploma in nursing or Associate of Nursing (ASN).
• Valid Indiana Registered Nurse license.
• CPR certification.
• Additional certifications may be required for specified areas.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and assist with 100 pounds; lifting requirements may be heavier for specified departments.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
