About The Position

We are hiring a Registered Nurse for the Neuro Trauma ICU at Via Christi St Francis in Wichita, KS. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule, working 3 shifts per week from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, including rotating weekends and holidays. A sign-on bonus of up to $7,500 is available. Via Christi associates are eligible for tuition discounts and priority placement in select healthcare programs through our academic partnership with Wichita State University.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.
Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.

Advocate for your patients by monitoring and communicating real-time health changes, ensuring the care team stays agile and responsive to their evolving needs.
Orchestrate multidisciplinary care as the primary coordinator, bridging the gap between different specialties to create a seamless, holistic healing experience.
Empower patients and their families by managing the discharge planning process, ensuring they have the resources and clarity needed for a safe and confident transition home.
