About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) manages episodes of patient care in partnership with patients, caregivers, groups, and other providers to achieve the shared goal of delivering safe, quality health care. Care may be delivered directly by the RN or coordinated and supervised when delegated to other members of the nursing care team. The role is in Gastroenterology and Endoscopy.

Requirements

• Associate, bachelor’s, or master’s degree or diploma in nursing.
• BLS and ACLS validated.
• Valid Minnesota Registered Nurse license.
• Proficiency using a personal computer, telephone, fax machine, photocopier, printer, and electronic medical record.
• IV insertion skills.
• Ability to administer moderate sedation.
• Endoscopy technical skills.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree.
• One year of prior nursing experience; endoscopy experience preferred.
