About The Position

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join its team. The RN delivers quality nursing care through interpersonal contact and provides care and services that help patients attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being, in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. The position involves assessing patient needs on an ongoing basis, revising care plans as patients’ conditions change, and providing daily clinical supervision to CNAs and LPNs.

Requirements

• Nursing diploma or an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Currently licensed or registered in the applicable state.
• Maintain an active Registered Nurse license in good standing throughout employment.
• CPR certification upon hire or obtained during orientation; certification must remain current during employment.
• Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment.
• Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.

Nice To Haves

• One year of skilled nursing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality nursing care to patients through interpersonal contact.
• Provide care and services to support patients’ physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and company standards.
• Evaluate patient needs through ongoing assessment.
• Revise care plans based on changes in patients’ conditions.
• Provide clinical supervision to CNAs and LPNs on a daily basis.
• Implement and interpret department programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward patients.
• Use reasoning skills and good judgment.
• Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
