RN Weekend Only Nights Progressive Care
About The Position
Seeking a Registered Nurse for Baptist Health Floyd's Progressive Care Unit. This is a part-time position with 24 hours weekly, working nights (7pm-7am) exclusively on weekends (WOW shifts). This role is benefit-eligible and offers a sign-on bonus for experienced external candidates. The RN will be responsible and accountable for direct, comprehensive nursing care for patients from admission to discharge, functioning as an on-shift team member to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers. The Progressive Care Unit (PCU) is a 32-bed intermediate level of care unit, bridging inpatient and critical care. While specializing in cardiovascular care, nurses will manage a variety of diagnoses including CHF, dysrhythmias, DKA, respiratory issues, and sepsis. Nurses work closely with an interdisciplinary team to provide excellent care for a high acuity population, cultivating and expanding assessment skills while managing drips and specialized procedures. New Graduate RNs and LPNs are welcome.
Requirements
- Current Indiana or compact state RN license.
- BLS for Healthcare Provider required.
- ACLS Certification required (obtained within 12 months of hire).
