RN Weekend Only Nights Progressive Care
About The Position
Seeking a Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at Baptist Health Floyd. This is a part-time position (24 hours weekly) with night shifts (7pm-7am) and a Weekend Only Work (WOW) schedule. The PCU is a 32-bed intermediate care unit, bridging inpatient and critical care. While specializing in cardiovascular care, nurses will manage a variety of diagnoses including CHF, dysrhythmias, DKA, respiratory issues, and sepsis. This unit offers an excellent environment for nurses to develop assessment skills and manage specialized procedures and drips. New graduate RNs and LPNs are welcome. Experienced external candidates may be eligible for a sign-on bonus.
Requirements
- Current Indiana or compact state RN license.
- BLS for Healthcare Provider required.
- ACLS Certification required (obtained within 12 months of hire).

Responsibilities
- Responsible and accountable for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge.
- Function as an on-shift team member providing direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers.
